Fair Usage Policy

1. Purpose
This Fair Usage Policy ensures that all liaisonIQ users have equitable access to the Service. Abusive or excessive usage degrades performance for everyone and undermines the quality of AI-powered features.
By using liaisonIQ, you agree to use the Service in a reasonable manner consistent with its intended purpose as a field intelligence and sales operations tool.
2. Rate Limits
The following rate limits apply to ensure fair access for all users:
- Data Export: You may request a data export (Profile → Export My Data) once per hour. Exports are queued and processed in order.
- AI Features: AI chat, route generation, visit prep, and coaching are subject to reasonable usage limits, applied per user and per workspace to prevent degradation of service. If you hit a limit, the app will indicate when you can make the next request.
- Webhook Deliveries: Webhook endpoints must respond within 30 seconds. We retry failed deliveries up to 3 times with exponential backoff. Consistently failing or slow endpoints may be automatically disabled.
- API Requests: Requests are subject to per-endpoint rate limits. Repeated violations may result in temporary throttling.
3. Storage and Data
Workspace data (clinics, visits, referrals, notes, files) is subject to reasonable storage limits appropriate to your plan. We will notify you before enforcing hard storage caps.
Excessive data accumulation through automated means, bulk imports beyond normal field usage patterns, or scripted data generation may be subject to review and limits.
4. Prohibited Automated Use
The following automated or programmatic uses are prohibited without explicit written authorization from liaisonIQ:
- Scraping, crawling, or bulk extraction of data from the Service
- Creating accounts or workspaces through automated means
- Sending API requests at rates exceeding normal interactive usage (typically more than 60 requests per minute per user)
- Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to simulate user activity
- Programmatically generating AI prompts in bulk to extract or compile information
5. Enforcement
liaisonIQ monitors usage patterns for anomalies. If we detect usage that violates this policy:
- First occurrence: Warning via email with a description of the violation
- Second occurrence: Temporary suspension of the affected feature or API access (typically 24–72 hours)
- Continued violations: Permanent restriction or account termination per our Terms of Service
We reserve the right to throttle or rate-limit abusive usage immediately and without prior notice when necessary to protect service integrity for other users.
6. High-Volume and Enterprise Use
If your organization has legitimate high-volume use cases (e.g., large team deployments, bulk clinic imports, custom integrations), contact us at support@liaisoniq.app before exceeding normal usage patterns.
We offer enterprise arrangements that include higher rate limits, dedicated support, and custom data agreements.
7. Changes
We may update this Fair Usage Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
